Kenya's Milkah Mukami Heads to Mrs. Universe 2023 in Philippines

In a momentous announcement, Mrs. Milkah Mukami is all set to represent Kenya at the 46th Mrs. Universe International 2023 competition, slated to be held in Pasay City, Philippines, from October 1st to 9th, 2023. The Kenyan delegate is gearing up to compete on the global stage, showcasing her prowess in Arts-Pageantry, Tourism, Culture and Heritage, and Trade.
Mrs. Mukami, a Daystar University graduate with a background in Communication, is not only a remarkable beauty but also a peace practitioner specializing in conflict resolution. Following her triumphant victory in the Mrs. Universe Kenya pageant held in December 2022, where she earned the honorary title of an exemplary queen, she immediately dedicated herself to the "Healing Healers Project." This project aims to empower women's groups, known as Chamas, across Kenya.
The Mrs. Universe Pageant celebrates women aged between 18 and 55 who juggle family, career, and a commitment to humanitarian causes. This year, the international competition boasts over 120 delegates from around the world, with Mrs. Mukami proudly representing Kenya.
In her mission, Mrs. Mukami collaborates with esteemed organizations like The Global Peace Foundation, Malipo Kenya, Rebirth of A Queen, Amani Communities Africa, and various media companies. Her dedication extends beyond borders, as she intends to forge connections with fellow delegates and international organizations during her time in the Philippines.
Mrs. Mukami will officially kick off her journey at a Press Conference on September 28, 2023, at 4 p.m., held at the Parklands Sports Club. The ceremony will be graced by government officials from various ministries, including Sports and the Arts, Tourism and heritage, Trade and Investment, Foreign and diaspora Affairs, and other corporate leaders.
