Beyonce makes history, bags her 32nd Grammy

American singer and songwriter Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter has made history to become the most Grammy Award recipient.

The 41-year-old singer won best dance/electronic album for her euphoric dance opus, Renaissance during the 31 Grammys on Sunday, making it her 32nd Grammy Award.

In her acceptance speech, Beyoncé thanked her family, including her late Uncle Jonny, who passed away following complications with HIV and heavily influenced her album Renaissance.

“I’m trying not to be too emotional. I’m trying to just receive this night. I want to thank God for protecting me. Thank you, God. I’d like to thank my uncle Johnny who’s not here, but he’s here in spirit," she said.
