From Bridal Gowns to Bottles: Dr. Catherine Masitsa Launches Wine Collection

Dr. Catherine Masitsa, the founder of Samantha Bridal and the newest addition to the cast of Real Housewives of Nairobi, recently spoke about her experience on the show and her latest venture: a wine collection under the Samantha Bridal brand.

Regarding her participation in the show, Dr. Masitsa. shared her enthusiasm for the opportunity to showcase the lives of successful women in Nairobi. "This is a show, if you want ordinary there's a lot of it on the street. The production, the women, it's been good, I feel new energy," she said.

In an interview with the Trend on NTV, Dr. Masitsa. revealed the inspiration behind the launch of the Samantha Bridal wine collection. "Last year we turned 18 and so we decided to launch the wine brand because, over the last 19 years, we've been connecting people and cultures, when we wanted to expand the brand we thought that wine is an amazing place to begin," she explained.

The collection includes a rosé, a white, and a red; available at leading stores such as Chandarana, Quickmart, Carrefour, Mega Wine Stores, and online.

The Real Housewives of Nairobi cast has been supportive of the new wine collection, according to Dr. Masitsa. "The ladies in the show love the wine," she said.

Despite the drama that comes with being on a reality TV show, Dr. Masitsa hopes that viewers will see the positive impact that the Real Housewives of Nairobi has on the community. "Being on the show has been an amazing platform. Yes, the drama is really good, but I want people to see how the show is building the women, how we are encouraging people, how we are showcasing Kenya as a country and Nairobi as a city," she said.

Dr. Masitsa emphasized that Samantha Bridal is still a top priority for her, even as she takes on this new venture. "Of course, Samantha Bridal is still there. People are still getting married. As a brand, we have evolved, it's like having a baby, it's meant to grow," she said.

As a business person, Dr. Masitsa prefers to stay out of the public eye, but she hopes that her appearance on Real Housewives of Nairobi will allow viewers to get to know her on a personal level. "I'm one of those people whom you'll not see the person of me on social media, and therefore you will get me as a business person, but now on the show you can really see me, my family, you can see me as Catherine," she said.

Dr. Masitsa's passion for entrepreneurship and empowering women shines through in both her businesses and her appearance on Real Housewives of Nairobi. As viewers tune in to the show and sip on a glass of Samantha Bridal wine, they can appreciate the hard work and dedication that Dr. Masitsa brings to every aspect of her life.
